The holidays are upon us and it’s a magical time!

If the holidays are a hard time for you, please remember to be gentle and take care of yourself! <3

Books

You can’t go wrong with a book, amiright?

The Artists Way by Julia Cameron is excellent and definitely the type of book a writer should own so they can work through it again and again!

What If? 2 by Randall Monroe is a brilliantly funny (and yet educational?) exploration of science and hypothetical questions. Perfect for thinking outside the box, jumpstarting creativity, or for pure entertainment!

Book Nerd by Holly Maguire is a cute gift book for readers.

And of course we can never have enough notebooks…

A leather bound notebook for the fantasy and Lord of the Rings fans.

This set of notebooks for more color.

And this notebook if your musings aren’t always PG.

For when adulting is hard, these notepads can help.

Book-ish Accessories

This bookholder is great for reading and especially handy for when working on revisions and trying to keep track of multiple things at a time!

And, of course, bookends are endlessly useful. These mountain bookends are great for the adventure lover and this set of tree bookends is perfect for those with lots of books!

These book pouches are something I didn’t even know I needed until recently and now it’s just so obviously a brilliant idea. They protect our books on the go with style! This “rainbows in the night” padded book pouch provides extra protection while this set of six can be handy since clearly we are reading more than one book at a time… While we’re at it we may protect our laptop with this galaxy printed bag as well!

Games and Shows

Sadly, we can’t read ALL the time ๐Ÿ˜‰ Here are some fantastic games and shows to enjoy! Or just get them *your* favorites and you can’t go wrong.

Five Minute Marvel is an excellent game to play with geeks of all ages: it’s simple enough to get the hang of quickly but fun enough to keep playing again and again!

Telestrations is a great party game to pull out with a group!

If you’re looking for something to watch, Avatar The Last Airbender will always be one of the best shows ever. Plus, there is unique worldbuilding and amazing characters that any story lover can appreciate!

Clothes and Accessories

T-shirts never go out of style! This one is for writers and says “I make stuff up.”

Also, this “One More Chapter” sweatshirt is the story of my life!

The “It’s a good day to read a book” t-shirt might be my favorite! The only problem is that I’d have to wear it every day…

Other Gifts

“I’d Rather Be Reading” puzzle. Perfect for when you’re forced to take a break from your book ๐Ÿ™‚

Nothing beats a purple typewriter!!! Obviously a bigger gift so only get this if the writer in your life has the desk space for it.

Cute “Writer at Work” signs. Both stylish and functional!

“Reading Is My Happy Place” blanket. Because nothing is more cozy than curling u with a blanket and a book!!

And last but not least, a Book Lovers Gift Box containing a bit of everything bookish.

Happy Holidays to you all and may all your celebrations be merry! ๐Ÿ™‚
